Shipping Policy

At Quietly Rooting, we take care when selecting, inspecting, and packaging our plants for their journey to you. We want your new plant to arrive as safely as possible and want you to know what to expect before placing your order.

Processing Time & Shipping Days

Quietly Rooting ships live plants on Mondays and Tuesdays only to help minimize the time plants spend in transit and reduce the risk of packages sitting in carrier facilities over the weekend.

Please allow 1–7 business days for order processing, depending on when your order is placed and our shipping schedule. Orders placed after our weekly shipping cutoff may ship the following week.

Processing times may also be extended during holidays, severe weather, or periods of high order volume. Every plant is inspected and carefully packaged before shipment.

Shipping Carrier & Rates

We use UPS to ship our live plants. Shipping rates and available services are displayed at checkout.

Customers may select an available expedited shipping option for an additional charge. Expedited shipping does not guarantee a specific delivery date unless the selected service provides that guarantee.

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase. Additional charges or delivery issues resulting from an incorrect address may be the customer's responsibility.

Weather & Live Plant Shipping

Live plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures, and Florida weather can be unpredictable.

We monitor weather conditions and reserve the right to delay shipments when extreme heat, cold, severe storms, or other conditions could put your plants at risk during transit.

Depending on the season and shipping conditions, we may use additional insulation, heat packs, or other protective packaging when appropriate.

During periods of extreme weather, your order may be held until conditions improve. We will communicate with affected customers when a weather-related delay occurs.

We appreciate your patience when weather affects our shipping schedule. Protecting your plants is a priority.

Shipping Locations

Quietly Rooting currently ships live plants to eligible destinations within the United States.

At this time, we do not ship live plants to California or Hawaii.

Some destinations may have restrictions on particular plant species or growing media. We reserve the right to decline an order if applicable restrictions prevent us from legally or safely shipping the plants to your destination.

Delivery & Receiving Your Plants

Please monitor your tracking information and bring your package indoors as soon as possible after delivery, especially during periods of extreme heat or cold.

Once a package is marked delivered by UPS, customers are responsible for retrieving it promptly and protecting the plants from outdoor temperatures and weather.

Carrier delays, missed deliveries, and packages left outdoors for extended periods can affect plant health. Once an order is handed over to UPS, carrier handling and delivery conditions are outside our control.
